DAILY PRIME - AUGUST 6, 2012: Canuck's Ryan Kesler Out Until At Least December
According to The Province, Ryan Kesler's agent Kurt Overhardt, stated that the Canuck player is not expected to be back sooner than December from his shoulder and wrist injuries, thereby squelching reports that he would return sooner. Vancouver will miss their leader but would benefit from a close to 100% healthy Kesler for the playoffs than having him return sooner and risk re-injuring his injuries. Although Kesler is one of the main cogs of the team, they would need his presence come playoff time for them to make a run at the Stanley Cup. Temper your fantasy expectations as it usually takes longer for a player who misses training camp to find his groove. So rest up Ryan, the Canuck fans need you come April 2013.
