***IN THE SLOT*** A RECAP OF THE NHL NIGHT IN STANLEY CUP ACTION
Homecoming Kings
- New Jersey Devils 0 - Los Angeles Kings 4: The Devils had their chance early in the game when they had a 5-on-3 power play opportunity but G Jonathan Quick made some spectacular saves to keep the Devils off the score sheet. New Jersey didn't play much of a desperation game after that by only getting a total of 22 SOG against the Kings netminder. Quick earned his 3rd shutout of these playoffs and will be considered an elite goaltender going forward in all fantasy camps. Anze Kopitar and Justin Williams each had a goal and an assist, making them the offensive stars of the game but it clearly was the play of Quick that has the Kings on the brink of their first Stanley Cup championship. With the Devils on the brink of elimination down 3-0, the series will resume on Wedneday night.
