Goalie Ryan Miller has stated that he supports the NHLPA decertifying as a union as a means of resoving the holdout. This dissolution would lead to filing an anti-trust lawsuit against the NHL. Meanwhile, NHL Deputy Commissioner Bill Daly warns that decertification is a time-consuming process that would likely cost the entire 2012/13 season. Funny comment, considering the agonizingly slow pace of negotiations between both sides since the lockout.
