DAILY PRIME - SEPTEMBER 15, 2012: Lucic Joins The Extension Signing Parade..Ducks Sign Fowler.. Two-Year Deal For Ennis
Boston Bruin LW Milan Lucic signed a 3-year extension with the club worth $18 million. That's a lot of escarole! Lucic joins fellow teammates Brad Marchand and Tyler Seguin as recent contract signings for the Bruins, keeping their young core intact.
Third-year defenseman Cam Fowler signs a four-year extension worth $20 million with Anaheim. Coming off a sub-par sophomore season where he regressed from 40 to 29 points, his point total is likely to increase with Lubomir Visnovsky traded to the New York Islanders. Fowler should be the undisputed power-play quarterback for the Ducks next season and beyond, so expect him to score 40-45 points, with 50-55 point upside. Tyler Ennis will be a Buffalo Sabre for at least two more years as he was re-signed to a modest price tag of a yearly average of $2.8 million. Ennis has yet to fulfill his offensive potential, but he should get the first crack at the No.1 center job for the Sabres. No Derek Roy could mean huge breakout for Ennis. Great fantasy sleeper to target in the late rounds.
