PrimePicks: Daily Roto Fantasy Lineup

Looking for offense?  Lean towards the Anaheim and Montreal forwards as they have good opportunities against weaker opponents.  The Ducks are at Carolina while the Canadiens host the Vancouver Canucks.  Corey Perry and Ryan Getzlaf have been producing more after a slow start to the season.  The Habs have some good quality forwards in Max Pacioretty & Brendan Gallagher along with Alex Galchenyuk, David Desharnais.  Dale Weise gives you good value at RW.  My goalie of choice for tonight is Anton Khudobin as he is going up against his former team in the Hurricanes.  Lots of incentive there

If you had a chance to read today’s BTP, you would know that Edmonton stands a better chance with Anders Nilsson in the net rather than Cam Talbot because Nilsson puts up better numbers overall.  LA is finishing off a 5-game home stand and will probably want to hit the road on a winning note after splitting the first 4 games.  Edmonton is playing the last game of a 4-game trip that and want to get to .500 for the trip.  Go with Quick if he starts and forwards in this one to take a look at are Tyler Toffoli.

The way I look at it, getting the Sedin twins into your lineup along with Jannik Hanson after their explosion in Columbus might depend on their opponent. Well, I like my chances against Craig Anderson and an Ottawa squad giving up tons of goals and really struggling at home... I mean, Steven Stamkos and company need to break out. Right? Here's hoping that Karri Ramo and the slumping Flames help the superstar get back on track..

A dozen games on tap tonight which gives you lots to choose from.  Starting with the goalies, Jake Allen is starting in his seventh straight game in which he has won 5 of 6 including a 4-0 shutout of the Nashville Predators in his last start.  Allen is a must-start even against a New Jersey Devils team that has won 4 of their last 5….In Tampa, Andrei Vasilevskiy is back in net against Buffalo who he beat last Thursday 4-1.  Vasilevskiy has been impressive since his return from injury….Looking for offense?  Try Dallas as they look to exact some revenge for t

Give it your best shot by going with the best of the best...Dallas heads into Carolina to take on the Hurricanes whoi are going with Eddie Lack in this one.LAck was better in his last start winning 3-2 in OT but his metrics are still iffy.  Jamie BEnn and Tyler SEguin are must starts in any fantasy format, and throw in Jason Spezza for good measure....Chicago is clearly the better team as they head into New Jersey.  Teuvo teravainen and Artem Anisimov are good value plays in this one....Detroit and Toronto should provide some good drama.  Detroit's Gustav Nyquist has been chipping in lately

My strategy lies with riding with players looking to bust out such as Giroux and Voracek in Calgary. The Flyer's offense has been downright dreadful but this duo is too good to disregard in this favorable matchup against the sievelike Flame's defense and goaltending. If I was a betting man, I say Philly scores at least 3-4... Matt Duchene is as streaky as they come so I will start him after his first breakout game of the season.

Starting with the net out, good value is Montreal’s Mike Condon who is starting for the injured Carey Price.  All Condon has done so far in 4 games is go 4-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and a .944 SP.  Playing at home tonight against the Ottawa Senators should be good enough to get you the win.  Montreal D-man Andrei Markov warrants a selection as he is a good value for his production.  Max Pacioretty, Tomas Plekanec and Brendan Gallagher have been the Habs best forward scoring options of late. …..Jake Allen gets the nod for St.

Your pricey options should definitely include the surging Phil Kessel as he returns to his old digs in Toronto, looking to exact some revenge on the organization that gave up on him. Sid the Kid and Geno will make sure Phil gets the last laugh tonight... The Battle of Alberta is always hotly contested but I do like the Edmonton young guns to get the best of a the struggling Karri Ramo... Darnell Nurse is a solid cheap option tonight as the defender has fared well since his call-up..

Battle of the backups Thursday night with 8 games on the slate. A couple of early games see the Carolina Hurricanes starting Eddie Lack while the Isles will go with G Thomas Greiss with Jaroslav Halak out with an illnesss.

First of all, I decided between the less expensive tandem of Giroux/Voracek over Seguin/Benn mainly because of inferior opposition in goal. Anaheim could be stingy in the crease while Buffalo has given up 11 goals over the last two games. Coming off a confidence-building win over the Rangers, Giroux and company can be poised for a huge breakout on offense... Krejci has been tearing it up for the Bruins who are seeking their first win at home.

A lot of matchups tonight in the NHL so lots of choices for your fantasy lineup.  Will Montreal keep their unbeaten record intact?  They are taking on a rebuilding Toronto Maple Leaf team, so look for offensive options here on both the defensive side and forward positions.  You should look at Price as your starter but here are other goalies who have good value for theri price, pardon the pun....Craig Anderson returns to the net for the Ottawa Senators as they face a young and rebuilding team also in Arizona.

Posted by steve on Thu, 2015-10-22 13:12

We have the NY Rangers taking on the Arizona Coyotes as Keith Yandle goes up agianst his former team while last year's Ranger rookie Anthony Duclair makes his debut at MSG in a Coyotes jersey. G Henrik Lundqvist should outduel Mike Smith in this one....Look for Pittsburgh to avenge their opening night 3-0 loss to Antti Niemi and the Dallas Stars with Fleury up for some payback....Last year's goaltending phenom Andrew Hammond gets his first start this season for Ottawa and takes on an anemic New Jersey Devils offense.

We don't project too many high scoring affairs tonight, so I look to use as many Islander skaters as possible against a Columbus squad giving up a ton of goals. Look for Washington to get their share in the road against slumping Calgary, as mid value pick TJ Oshie could be worth the start.

A lot of good matchups tonight with some struggling teams in Pittsburgh and Edmonton looking for their first wins while Montreal & Nashville look to remain unbeaten with games against the NY teams. We all know that the Penguins are ready to burst out in a big way with the amount of offensive talent they have but can they break thorugh against red-hot Ottawa goalie Craig Anderson?  Ottawa did play last night in Columbus and scored 7 goals.

A good place to start with your Draft Kings lineup tonight is with the Dallas Stars and its most prolific scoring forward Tyler Seguin. The potential Art Ross winner hasn't gone off yet but facing Edmonton's back up goalie at home could easily jumpstart a hot scoring streak.

The Tampa Bay Lightning had their hands full with Philadelphia in their home opener, but they won't be playing too tight in today's road contest in Buffalo. Steven Stamkos was held off the scoreboard but his line-mates Ryan Callahan and Jonathan Drouin combined for four points. I had a feeling that the top line was going to come out like gang-busters to open season, so Game 2 should be no different. Play Stamkos at top value while the other two can still be had on the cheap.
